These innovative traps efficiently capture media and resins, effectively preventing any unwelcome loss and ensuring they do not travel downstream.

Expertly crafted, the resin trap screen features a closed end on one side, complemented by a convenient flange on the other, simplifying installation to your equipment. With its continuous slots and polished surface, the screen is engineered for either flow-in-to-out (FITO) or flow-out-to-in (FOTI) filtration. Its precisely engineered slot sizes are adept at capturing even the tiniest particle resins.

For optimal durability, our resin traps are commonly constructed from high-grade stainless steel, a strategic choice over carbon steel to circumvent the common issues associated with accelerated corrosion.

Work Principle

The resin trap operates as a crucial protective barrier, meticulously designed to prevent ion exchange resin or other filtration media from exiting the water treatment facility and infiltrating areas where they simply shouldn't be. Featuring sophisticated wedge wire screens, often referred to as Vee wire screens, these are strategically positioned near the outlet of the water system pipeline. These screens are encased in robust housings, predominantly crafted from stainless steel or high-quality plastic, ensuring maximum durability and efficiency.

As the resin or media flows past, it is deftly intercepted and ensnared by the ingeniously engineered wedge wire filter screens. Simultaneously, any resin that has been captured can be efficiently expelled from the system.
