The TZS Series Candle Filter, or as it's elegantly known, the candle diatomaceous earth filter, is an innovative self-cleaning solution specifically engineered for unparalleled solid-liquid separation. Ideal for the delicate task of clarifying and recovering liquids, this filter effortlessly handles solid content varying from a robust 5% to a mere whisper below 1%, even extending its prowess to trace amounts. This makes it an essential tool for those seeking not only efficiency but also perfection in liquid purification.
 

Work Principle

 

The candle filter is an ingeniously closed system, meticulously designed with a series of porous filter cartridges, known as candle filter cartridges, each adorned with a precisely matched filter cloth. As the liquid circulates through this sophisticated system, larger particles are efficiently intercepted by the surface of the filter cloth. Over time, these solid materials accumulate to form what is commonly referred to as a 'filter cake layer.' This layer is crucial as the tiny gaps between the particles in the filter cake effectively block the passage of particulate impurities, resulting in a clear filtrate. Thus, the desired filtration performance for production is seamlessly achieved, earning the candle filter the apt title of a 'filter cake layer filter.'

Once the filter cake layer reaches a critical thickness after a period of standard filtration, the rate at which filtrate flows through diminishes, leading to reduced filtration efficiency. At this juncture, it becomes imperative to remove the 'filter cake layer.' The system, equipped with a pressure sensor, automatically initiates a backflushing process based on the detected signals. To clear out the accumulated cake, the valve at the cylinder's bottom is opened to discharge the residue. After this, a fresh 'filter cake layer' is established, enabling the commencement of a new and efficient filtration cycle.
