Our Flexible Polyurethane Screenisa state-of-the-art polyurethane-coated stainless steel wire rope screen,designed to provide the same open area as traditional woven wire screens, while offering outstanding benefits and superior performance.
Crafted with precision, the polyurethane-coated stainless steel wire rope screen is engineered by meticulously welding two distinct types of ropes together.
The primary rope, extending from hook to hook, features a steel wire core enveloped in a robust polyurethane coating. This design ensures that the hooked-edge screen can be tensioned like conventional screens, without necessitating any alterations to your existing machinery.
The secondary rope, composed of a finely engineered synthetic cord and similarly coated with durable polyurethane, runs parallel to the hooked edge. In side-tensioned installations, it mimics the functionality of rider bars, facilitating the natural descent of larger stones while guiding smaller ones toward the apertures, thereby optimizing screening efficiency through enhanced stratification.
For end-tensioned screens, this versatile rope can be strategically positioned either on top, in a cross-flow configuration, or beneath the wire rope, offering flexibility and efficiency in various operational setups.
