Work Principle

 

The candle filter operates within a sealed system, ingeniously assembled with multiple porous filter cartridges known as candle filter cartridges. These cartridges are meticulously cloaked in a precisely fitted filter cloth. As the liquid flows through the system, larger material particles are deftly captured on the filter cloth's surface. Once these solid elements accumulate to a substantial thickness, they form what is elegantly termed as the 'filter cake layer'. This layer, with its minuscule gaps between particles, acts as a formidable barrier, effectively trapping any particulate impurities within the liquid, thus ensuring the resulting filtrate is luminously clear, achieving the pristine filtration outcome necessary for production purposes. Hence, the candle filter is often acclaimed as a 'filter cake layer filter' due to its superb efficacy.

Upon the filter cake layer reaching a specific thickness after sustained filtration, the efficiency of filtrate passage diminishes, signaling a decline in filtration performance. It becomes imperative to remove the 'filter cake layer'. In response to pressure sensor inputs, the system initiates a backflushing process. This involves opening the valve at the cylinder's base to expel accumulated slag, enabling the construction of a fresh 'filter cake layer'.
