Work Principle

 

The screen, meticulously positioned within a robust cylindrical housing, endures considerable pressure, ranging between 2 and 4 bar. This pressure is meticulously adjusted per the specific application, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

The liquid, such as a starch slurry, is introduced with precision into the housing via a nozzle, propelled by a pressure of 0.2-0.4 MPa at the screen's core. As the liquid masterfully navigates through the elegantly narrow slots, unwanted solid particles and impurities find themselves trapped on the screen's surface. Meanwhile, the pure, untainted liquid-a seamless blend of starch and water-gracefully passes through, ready to be collected at the pulp outlet for pristine use.

Periodic liberation of the trapped particles and impurities is achieved through a sophisticated backwash or flushing system. This innovative system utilizes either water or air, which effortlessly flushes the particles off the screen's surface, collecting them for further refinement or environmentally conscious disposal.
