Work Principle

 

Positioned within a robust cylindrical housing, the advanced screen endures high pressure, typically ranging from 2 to 4 bar, meticulously tailored to suit specific application demands. This design ensures optimal performance and durability.

The ingenious design facilitates the introduction of the liquid, such as starch slurry, via a strategically placed nozzle. Under a precise pressure of 0.2-0.4 MPa, the liquid enters at the center of the screen. As it elegantly traverses through the meticulously engineered narrow slots, solid particles and impurities are adeptly trapped on the screen's surface. Meanwhile, the purified liquid, comprising starch and water, gracefully passes through and is efficiently collected at the pulp outlet.

Ingeniously, the trapped particles and impurities are periodically and efficiently dislodged from the screen's surface using a sophisticated backwash or flushing system. This system adeptly employs water or air to flush the particles from the screen, ensuring they are collected for further processing or environmentally responsible disposal.
