Rotary Wedge Wire Screen Operation: As wastewater enters the system, it is channeled into a weir, from where it is meticulously and evenly distributed onto the sidewalls of the rotary drum. The screen surface efficiently retains solids, allowing liquid to seamlessly flow through the screen openings. Solids are adeptly transported by flights to the open end of the drum, while the rotation of the drum ensures the entire screening surface is continuously and thoroughly washed by the wastewater. Additionally, cleaning is enhanced by the strategic intermittent use of external spray nozzles.
