The primary rope, which spans from hook to hook, is a robust wire rope enveloped in a substantial polyurethane coating. This unique combination ensures the hooked-edge screen can be tensioned just like any other hooked-edge configuration, without necessitating any machinery adjustments.
The secondary rope, comprising a delicate synthetic cord also coated with a thick layer of polyurethane, is aligned parallel to the hooked edge. In side-tensioned arrangements, it effectively functions like rider bars, facilitating the descent of larger stones down the deck while directing smaller ones nearer to the apertures.
