This remarkable polyurethane-coated stainless steel wire rope screen is ingeniously designed by welding together two distinct types of ropes.
The primary rope stretches elegantly from hook to hook and is a robust wire rope encased in a resilient polyurethane coating. This innovative combination allows the hooked-edge screen to be tensioned seamlessly, just like any other hooked-edge screen, without necessitating any modifications to existing machinery.
The secondary rope, crafted from a fine synthetic cord and also encased in a durable polyurethane layer, runs parallel to the hooked edge. In side-tensioned setups, it performs the role of rider bars, facilitating the effortless slide of larger stones down the deck and directing smaller ones towards the apertures. This enhanced stratification process significantly boosts screening efficiency.
For end-tensioned screens, this adaptable rope can be strategically positioned either on top, in a cross-flow orientation, or beneath the wire rope, ensuring optimal performance.
