Wedge wire screens, also known as Vee wire screens, are strategically installed near the outlet of the water system line and are safeguarded by housing, typically made of robust stainless steel or durable plastic.
As resin or media moves past, it is adeptly intercepted and captured by the wedge wire filter screens. Simultaneously, any captured resin can be efficiently discharged from the system through an automatic flushing process, driven by the differential pressure between the front and rear of the system.
Resin traps or media traps are essential components that need to be integrated into the product water line of nearly all resin and media-based water treatment systems.
