Wedge Wire Hub & Header Distributor Assemblies are critical components, consisting of a hub steel pipe with screen laterals. These assemblies efficiently collect or distribute liquid/gas, preventing the medium from escaping.

 

Hub & Header Distributor Assemblies Also referred to as Draining Filtering or water distributors, the water filter assemblies are designed to fit various vessel/filter sizes, flange sizes, flow rates, and medium specifications. The middle row device of the wedge wire screen laterals assemblies can be customized to meet specific shape requirements, such as an ordinary radial type, a fishbone type, or a T-type, among others. Additionally, the size of the lateral branch pipe and the hub master pipe can be adjusted to meet customer needs.

Hub and Header Lateral Assembly

Wedge wire screen laterals assemblies are divided into hub lateral assembly and header lateral assembly based on their installation position and function within the tank.

• Hub lateral assembly is used at the top or bottom of the tank. Its main role is to distribute and collect liquids at the equipment outlet.
• Header lateral assembly is used in the middle section of the tank to ensure even distribution and discharge of liquids while preventing media from flowing out.
• Hub and header laterals assemblies come in various shapes, including radial type and fish spike type. We can design and manufacture wedge wire lateral assemblies with different main pipe diameters and lateral quantities according to customer requirements.

Hub radial lateral assembly
 

Hub radial lateral assembly consists of a central hub and several screen laterals. lt is typically installed at the top or bottom of thevessel. lt commonly works as hub-lateral distributor at the top of thetank for liquid distribution and serves as hub-lateral collector at thebottom of the tank for liquid collection. Especially in radial flowequipment such as centrifuges. Hub radial lateral assembly ensuresuniform distribution or concentrated collection of liquids within theequipment.The hub radial lateral assembly can be 4 laterals (crosslaterals), 6 laterals,8 laterals, 16 laterals, one layer screen lateralsand two layers laterals.

Hub fish spike Lateral Assembly

The structure of hub fish spike lateral assembly differs from the hubradial lateral assembly. lt is mainly used for liquid distribution at thetop and liquid collection at the bottom of large tanks

Header Lateral Assembly

Header lateral assembly is composed of a central header and several screen laterals mounted on both sides of the pipe. It is used in the middle section of the tank to ensure even distribution or collection of liquids within or at the outlet of the vessel. Header lateral assembly can adapt to different process conditions while maintaining high distribution efficiency.
