Rotary Wedge Wire Screen Operation: Upon entering a weir, wastewater is uniformly distributed onto the drum's sidewalls. Solids are expertly retained on the screen surface, while liquids seamlessly flow through the screen openings. The solids are then efficiently transported by flights to the drum's open end. The drum's rotation continuously washes the entire screening surface using the wastewater itself, and additional cleaning is achieved through the strategic, intermittent use of external spray nozzles.
