Work Principle

 

The candle filter operates within a sealed system, ingeniously constructed with numerous porous filter cartridges, also known as candle filter cartridges. Each cartridge is meticulously enveloped with a complementary filter cloth. As the liquid traverses through this proficient setup, larger material particles are deftly captured on the cloth's surface. Over time, these particles accumulate to form what is referred to as the 'filter cake layer.' This layer is critical for its minuscule gaps, which proficiently hinder particulate impurities from escaping, rendering the filtrate crystal clear. Thus, the candle filter achieves the desired filtration efficacy for production, earning its alternative moniker-the filter cake layer filter.

As the filter cake layer thickens beyond optimal levels during regular filtration cycles, the passage rate of the filtrate diminishes, resulting in decreased filtration efficiency. At this juncture, the filter cake layer must be eradicated to restore peak performance. The system, guided by pressure sensor alerts, initiates a backflushing process. This involves opening the cylinder's bottom valve to efficiently discard the collected slag. Subsequently, a new filter cake layer is established, marking the commencement of another filtration cycle, thereby ensuring continuous and effective operation.
