In the screening process, the liquid medium, such as starch slurry, is introduced into the housing via a strategically placed nozzle, under a controlled pressure of 0.2-0.4 MPa at the center of the screen. As this liquid journeys through the intricately designed narrow slots, solid particles and impurities are adeptly captured on the screen's surface. Meanwhile, the purified liquid, rich in starch and water, seamlessly passes through and is expertly collected at the pulp outlet, ready for further utilization or processing.

Ingeniously designed for efficiency, the trapped particles and impurities are periodically and effortlessly removed from the screen's surface through an advanced backwash or flushing system. This system, which can utilize either water or air, skillfully flushes the accumulated particles from the screen, where they are then gathered for further processing or eco-friendly disposal.
