The primary rope stretches from hook to hook and features a wire rope enveloped in a durable polyurethane coating. This design allows the hooked-edge screen to be tensioned just like other hooked-edge screens, eliminating the need for machinery modifications.
The second rope comprises a fine synthetic cord, also adorned with a robust polyurethane layer, running parallel to the hooked edge. In side-tensioned configurations, this rope functions akin to rider bars, effectively allowing larger stones to glide down the deck while guiding smaller ones closer to the apertures, thereby enhancing the stratification process and boosting screening efficiency.
For end-tensioned screens, this rope can be strategically placed either on top, in a cross-flow arrangement, or beneath the wire rope, providing versatility and adaptability to different screening setups.
