In the cutting-edge design of our filtration system, the screen is strategically placed within a cylindrical housing and engineered to withstand high pressure conditions, ranging from 2 to 4 bar. The liquid medium, such as starch slurry, is introduced into the housing through a nozzle, driven by a pressure of 0.2-0.4 MPa, directed at the heart of the screen. Meanwhile, the purified liquid, consisting of starch and water, seamlessly filters through, being efficiently collected at the pulp outlet, ready for the next stage of processing.
To maintain continuous efficiency, the accumulated particles and impurities are regularly cleared from the screen surface by an advanced backwash or flushing system. This system leverages either water or air to proficiently expel the trapped particles, which are then redirected into collection systems for subsequent processing or environmentally responsible disposal.
