Work Principle

 

The candle filter operates within a sealed environment and is ingeniously designed with a multitude of porous filter cartridges, known as candle filter cartridges. These cartridges are clad with perfectly matched filter cloths. As the liquid circulates, larger material particles are effectively captured on the surface of the filter cloth. Over time, these solid particles accumulate to form a substantial "filter cake layer." The incredibly fine gaps between the particles in this layer act as a barrier, preventing particulate impurities from escaping the liquid, thus rendering the filtrate crystal clear. This exceptional filtration process achieves the precise clarity required in production, earning the candle filter its alternate name: the filter cake layer filter.

When the thickness of the filter cake layer surpasses a certain limit after continuous filtration, the flow rate of the filtrate through this layer reduces, diminishing filtration efficiency. At this juncture, it becomes essential to remove the "filter cake layer." The system intelligently initiates a backflushing process, prompted by a signal from the pressure sensor. To effectively expel the accumulated cake, the valve at the cylinder's base is opened to discharge the slag. This process paves the way for constructing a fresh "filter cake layer," thereby embarking on a new filtration cycle.
