The modular self-cleaning filter uses multiple standard V-slot metal filter elements as filtration components. Based on a system integration design concept, multiple standard filtration units are combined into a filtration system, allowing flexible adjustment of unit numbers according to actual flow requirements. The system features a high safety factor, fully automated operation, and low maintenance costs. With its unique metal filter elements, it is suitable for low-viscosity liquids such as raw water, wastewater, gasoline, heavy gasoline, diesel, and residual oil.

Working Principle

As the liquid passes through the filtration unit, suspended impurities and particles are effectively trapped by the high-precision V-shaped metal mesh filter elements, gradually accumulating on the surface of the filter and forming a filter cake layer. As the thickness of the filter cake increases, the filtration resistance rises, leading to a gradual increase in the pressure differential between the inlet and outlet of the filter unit. When the pressure differential reaches the preset threshold, it indicates that the filter element has reached its maximum capacity of trapped contaminants, causing a significant decrease in filtration flow. At this point, the control system automatically activates the back-flushing mechanism, switching to the self-cleaning mode. The back-flushing fluid flows at high speed from the inside to the outside of the filter element, using the pressure difference and fluid shear force to detach and expel the impurities and particles adhering to the filter surface, effectively restoring the filter element's permeability and filtration performance, ensuring the continuous and stable operation of the system.
