Basket Filter, also called Basket Strainer, is an industrial filtration product used (at the inlet or suction) for removing particulates and foreign matter from water-running pipes and valves in filtration and plumbing applications.

Basket filter adopts a durable metal filter basket as a filter element, commonly used accuracy of 50 microns -8000 microns, can be cleaned and reused, low cost of use, can filter large particles of impurities, can also protect key equipment, significantly extend its service life, improve operating efficiency, to avoid high system shutdown risk.

Working Principle

 

 

When the filter medium enters the chamber from the filter inlet, the solid impurity particles are retained in the filter basket and clean filtrate flows out from the filter outlet.

When cleaning or replacing the filter basket, close the pipeline system, unscrew the drain plug at the bottom of the main pipe and drain the fluid. And then open the filter cover, re-install the filter basket after cleaning, and fasten the filter housing and filter cover.
