The ingenious design of the single bag filter ensures that the inlet is strategically positioned higher than the filter bag. This allows the filter medium to smoothly flow into the filter bag from the inlet. During the filtration process, impurities are effectively trapped within the filter bag, while the purified filtrate gracefully exits from the outlet, guided along the robust wall of the fixed metal basket.
To maintain optimal performance, the filter bag requires replacement when impurities accumulate to form a filter cake and the differential pressure hits the threshold of 0.05-0.1 MPa. When it's time for replacement, the filter system must be temporarily shut down. Begin by opening the pressure relief valve and filter cover, then proceed to replace the filter bag. After cleaning, filter bags can often be reused unless they are significantly damaged, in which case replacements are necessary. Keep in mind that cleaned bags should only be reused if they are in good condition.
