This polyurethane-coated stainless steel wire rope screen features a robust construction by welding together two distinct types of ropes, ensuring durability and performance.
The primary rope, stretching from hook to hook, is a wire rope sheathed in a durable and thick polyurethane coating. This unique combination allows the hooked-edge screen to be tensioned just like its counterparts, requiring no additional modifications to your existing machinery.
The secondary rope, made from a fine synthetic cord also enveloped in a resilient polyurethane layer, runs parallel to the hooked edge. In side-tensioned setups, this innovative rope performs like rider bars, enabling larger stones to effortlessly glide down the deck while guiding smaller ones closer to the apertures, thus optimizing the stratification process and maximizing screening efficiency.
For end-tensioned screens, this versatile rope can be positioned either above, following a cross-flow pattern, or beneath the wire rope, tailoring to specific operational needs.
