This exceptional polyurethane-coated stainless steel wire rope screen is crafted by skillfully welding together two unique types of ropes.
The rope extending from hook to hook is ingeniously designed with a wire rope encased in a thick, durable polyurethane coating. This robust design allows the hooked-edge screen to be tensioned seamlessly, just like other hooked-edge screens, with no need for any machinery modifications.
The alternative rope features a fine synthetic cord, also enveloped in a substantial layer of polyurethane, running parallel to the hooked edge. In side-tensioned configurations, this cord functions much like rider bars, enabling larger stones to effortlessly slide down the deck while guiding smaller particles closer to the apertures. This advanced stratification process significantly enhances screening efficiency.
For end-tensioned screens, this rope can be strategically positioned either on top, running in a cross-flow orientation, or beneath the wire rope, offering adaptability and precision.
