The secondary rope consists of a delicate synthetic cord, also sheathed in a substantial layer of polyurethane, situated parallel to the hooked edge. In side-tensioned configurations, this rope acts akin to rider bars, facilitating the smooth passage of larger stones down the deck, while effectively directing smaller particles towards the apertures.
